Joseph Daniel Price is THREE years old today. I can not believe we made it to three already. He is growing like a weed and getting taller everyday. He currently weighs 35 pounds and is 39 inches tall. He wears a size 10 shoe! We have far surpassed the micro preemie look! This year Joseph has stepped up his vocabulary and can pretty much say or sing anything that he wants to.
His favorite ornery phrases are:
You are a poopy diaper gummy bear. (Where does he come up with this stuff)
Boom Shaka laka
I did not do that (When he clearly did)
Are you ok?
Are you mad?
Where is Isla, I need Isla (When he is nervous)
His favorite movie of the year is Hotel Transylvania 3 (He knows every word)
His favorite color is pink! (Dad loves that)
His favorite food would be a toss up between macaroni and hot dogs but has just started loving salmon sashimi
His favorite sport started out as Baseball and has now moved to Hockey, he requested to go to a hockey game for his birthday so tonight we are headed to the Coyote vs the Blues game.
He loves to dance and sing, Old Town Road is at the top of his playlist this year.
Riding the ranger is his favorite hobby.
Two has brought us so much growth, confidence, love and spunk. He is still pretty shy but starting to warm up to others quicker than before. We know that Three will bring so much more growth and personality and we can not wait!
Isaiah 12:4-5
In that day you will say: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; Let this be known to all the world!”
When we started on our journey to find who God intended to be in our family four years ago, I never would have imagined the journey we would go through to find such a perfect little boy. He was set apart from birth, just merely a static in our society. He was looked upon as unwanted and in the eyes of our world he had only a small chance to survive. Little did anyone know that our GOD is stronger than statistics, he is stronger than medical hurdles and he is stronger than our minds can imagine. What we would see as impossible is nothing but possible with God. He used Joseph to show our family what it feels like to depend on him for all things. He used Joseph to show our family what love outside of blood looks and feels like, a love that can not be made up but a perfect love that grows inside your hearts. He used Joseph to prove that he is at work when we can not go another day by ourselves. Through out his three short years of life he embodies Jesus. He sings his praises at church and prays to him everyday. Joseph already knows where his help comes from, the maker of heaven and earth. Joseph will always be able to proclaim the good news of Jesus because he will always know that God has saved his life. He has not only saved his life but he has given him life in him each and every day. We are so lucky to be a part of his story. We can not even imagine what our lives would look like without our little boy in it, he is so loved by his sisters and family!
